so we're back to monday again
the weekend was pretty cool
lets start at the beginning....

Friday night

• drinks at work organised by mohammed- i had a debate with a dude about oracle and sql. i think it's interesting debating with drunk people! they bite really easily...."why don't you just use microsoft access?" (giggles)
• tea with carl - first we went for a drive up the mountain so he could fill up some containers with some mountain water. he reckons it's the best water in the world. i'm a bit reluctant to drink water that has the potential of having animal poo in it. then we went and got some indian and ate it at my place while watching the end of 'finding nemo' and the tennis. i've never really watched the tennis before....it goes for aaaaaaages!!!

Saturday

• the market - i met up with aj and we had breakfast at sals. twas really nice....but i think i still prefer a barcelona breakfast! then we went for a wander around the market for a bit. saw some twin street performers. they were pretty clever but i still like 'popeyed' the best!! ;)
• the ride - i jumped on my bike and rode up to the domain to meet carl. was laying in the sun for a bit while i waited and managed to get my knees sunburnt...ouch! when he arrived, we rode along the bike track to glenorchy. it was fun - every now and then we would ride beside me and push me along! was great to give my legs a break (and go uber fast!!!)
• the birthday - after the ride, i raced home and got ready for paulie's birthday! started at the tele then headed down on a bus to margate to a cute little winery. it was an awesome setup and the weather was lush! great work paulie! i even won a bottle of wine! hooray!
  

Sunday

• the drive - mum, dad and brendan picked me up and we drove to orford. why? i dunno! no one knows! we got there, had some fish and chips then drove home! i took my camera to get some pics but the dodgy batteries i bought on the way up only lasted 10 mins! ripped off!! (puts batteries on shopping list) i did get some pics of these groovy little crabs though! they were everywhere!
  
• home - after 'the great meaningless drive', i went back down to mum's and watched the cricket. brendan and i were busting to go over to the oval and watch it live. maybe next time. *sigh* i sorted through some of my stuff at mum's while i was there - a lot of memory provoking things. after tea mum, brendan and i sat in the lounge room and chatted about funny things we've done, things that have happened, pets, family trips, hospital visits, more memories! must have been the night for it! we had ourselves in stitches!! "dad had a coffee with the cat's mother"...lmao!!
