last night was awesome...

first i helped bec with her biscuits (yes, the ones that looked like spew)
she was putting chocolate on the bottom of them
and i was putting swirly patterns through the chocolate with a fork
a nice affect i must say

then i headed up to aj's
he was playing with his new toy - a media centre
looks pretty spiffy
the menu is a bit bland but that's the price of slimline!
once that was up and running we watched a couple of episodes of Battlestar Galactica!
i love that show!!
it's the only show that i watch religiously
one of the characters died which was kinda sad

when i left aj's
i got a call from adrian asking if i wanted to go for a sleigh ride
"a sleigh ride??" i hear you say
it was more of a modern day sleigh ride!!
he had the roof off his car and we went hooning around to see some christmas lights


we didn't see many lights but the hooning was fun!
especially when the stars came out
they were beautiful
zooming along and all i had to do was look up and there they were
i don't think i looked back down for a full 5 mins!
i saw a comet fly through my star sign too!

i had a doctor's appointment at the RHH today about my legs
the ongoing saga!
the doc walks in a says 'i've been thinking about you'
me: 'it's nice to be thought about. i feel special'
the reason he's been thinking about me and my stoopid legs is because he can't 'put them in a box'. the symptoms i have don't point towards anything specific.
they hurt
they ache
they stab
i have to have an MRI scan just so he can see what's going on
doc: do you have any questions?
me: heaps, but none that you can answer
doc: it may just take time. it's just annoying cause you can't play your favourite sport.
he's got that bit right
he told me that bike riding is good though
low impact
awesome!!
more bike riding for me!!

one more day of work for the year
scary how quickly this year has gone
and all the things that have happened
i'm excited about all the things that have been planned
i wish they were here sooner
but i don't want to wish the year away
this one seems to have disappeared so quickly
where did it go??
