so last night ended up being a lot better than expected
(some of that was thanks to red bull!!)
jimbo and i went to the supermarket and got the supplies:
steak, kaboobs, bread, spuds, V's, bubbles.....
got home and made the salad
kimmy arrived
we cooked
we ate
we blew bubbles off the balcony!
our bubbles were racing each other out the driveway!
i'm not sure who's got the furthest....probably mine did ;)
we even got a shock when grumpy nanna (who has also been nick-named 'sandy') said hello to us!
she was the one that called the police on me, jimbo and youdie when we were laughing too loud at 'the glasshouse' with the back door open.
maybe she's seen the light and change.....or maybe she had some red bull too!!

i'm feeling a lot better today than yesterday
i even got up earlier so i had some time for toast for breakfast! Yuummmm!!!
i love vegemite!
it's the only thing i'll have on toast
except for scrambled eggs!


i've been working all morning with my manager on our policy, guidelines and manuals
it's funny really....since i've been here i've never really looked at them before!
the manual i pretty much work on all the time and add new bits
but the policy and protocol......i had no idea of what the content was!!
it's going to be less confusing now and now i know what ammunition i have when people ask me 'why?'
i don't think i've read ANY policy within the department!!
i could never understand their usefulness
but i guess being in government logic doesn't stand unless it's written down and signed off
